Each morning
I lumber downstairs to
Bathe
Hot water sprays
From the showerhead onto me.
Unawake head.
Soap
Slips through my hands onto
The wet floor
I pick it
Up from the floor then
I
Begin to clean
Last night’s nightmares from myself
Sluicing off the
Sweat
That built up in my sleep.
A new day.

Who knows where this will go, if anywhere at all.
I'm still not sure to be honest.
Now a 50 year old Gen-xer. The focus of this whatever it is will mainly be on poetry but I am very opinionated so I may well opine at you on occasion. You are not obliged to engage. :)
